A passage in the chapter 5 that really stood out to me was when Richard sells his papers but not realizing what he is selling until one of his neighbors teaches him. Richard gets a job of selling papers that his friend, concerned about Richard’s health and hunger, recommended. They sell magazines and newspapers that are published in Chicago, but they don’t exactly know what they are selling.
