Groupthink
Have you ever been at a group or company meeting and your discussing options to a problem or an issue? Everyone around you is sitting quietly listening but seem to afraid to speak up and voice their option. In this same group there is a strong leader who seems very persuasive and seems to be leading the group. Everyone in the group seems to be trying to rationalize why this person is right and pressuring everyone into agreeing with them. Soon you find yourself thinking that your reasoning you have must be wrong if everyone else is agreeing. If so you may be a victim of groupthink (Mind tools, 2013).
