Growing old is inevitable; we all grow old and eventually died, and thats the only thing in life that we can be sure of. But what does it mean to grow old in America? To me growing old in means the quality of life that will be around and that you will have. No matter what in life that comes your way I believe that it how you deal with it is how the outcome will be. You cant control many things in life like: increase of taxes, more violence and crime and drugs, and possible more poverty.

Our country spends way too much money we are over 65 trillion dollars in debt as of February 16, 2016 and that is growing by the millions every minute. So where does that leave us in 40 years when I'm 60 and want to retire. We will be in debt for as long as I am alive, that is inevitable. But what are the cause of more debt? Some will say that more debt will cause people to never to be able to retire. There will be no money there for social security or pension in 40 years. You cant cut the military budget cause if we ever lost a war an became an occupied nation then what will happen be good about that then the way of life is even worse. Possibly they raise taxes to a ridiculous amount and know there is more homeless people and people who cant afford to feed their families or people who can afford to pay the taxes because

But how much worse can it get? in 40 years will it be so bad that you can't even leave your house without being shot and killed because your in the wrong place at the wrong time. But what could be done to change all of this. The war on drugs and violence has always been around in one form or another and it hasn't gotten any better and now with more technology and better weapons there will be more violent crimes. Something has to change you can only do so much; a society to change must want to change and if they do not want to change they wont because they get by just fine wither
