America is called a melting pot, meaning people from all over the world of: different races, cultures, and religions that live and work together. This diverse and rich culture of America has built a very stongand united country over the past 300 years. Advancing technology allows family and friends around the work to stay in contact, as well as enhance global business opportunities. One thing that is very evident when people from various backgrounds and cultures merge together; there will be disagreements and conflicts. The term hate crime is a direct attack or deragatory comment directed at an individual due to their: race, creed, sexual orientation, or gender. Hate groups openly spread hate to escalate racial and religious tensions through various rallies, concerts, and propaganda. Organizations such as the Klu Klux Klan and other white supremacy organizations are right-wing extremists. Oposite of the right-wing is the left-wing extremists, who are just as dangerous as right-wing extremists, who look to overthrow democracy and conservative states, and replace it with an anarchy or communist rule. This type of extemism utilizes extreme violence and various attacks to promote their agenda. State sponsored cells and domestic terrorism continue to exist today, and plan and coordinate to attack America. Weather underground and Symbionese Liberation Army were common anarchists groups of the past that executed various forms of domestic terrorism with the United States. The internet is a global conglomoration that allows domestic extremism groups to recruit, spread propganda, and communicate with members of a group around the world. Music, cartoons, and video games spread hatred as characters kill less superior groups or individuals.
