Health Care System The goal of an organization's health care system is universal health care. To achieve this goal, government agencies, the private sector, and medical professionals collaborate to promote, prevent, treat, and maintain population health. The goal of the Alma-Ata Declaration is to contribute to the process of improving population-wide health. The goal of each of these models is to encourage more efficient use of resources and eliminate inequalities within the healthcare system. Different settings provide greater flexibility for tactics, investigations, studies, prevention, and application. In order to maintain the health and welfare of the global population, appropriate funding for the healthcare system is required. The Beveridge model, according to Lameire et al. (1999), aims to use population taxation along with different funding from the public sector. The Bismack or mixed model seeks to offer access to health care through the use of private insurance that is paid for by funds from both employers and employees. Furthermore, the majority of insurance policies in the United States are funded by private insurance companies; individuals choose their premium based on their financial means, with the exception of Medicare and Medicaid, which are provided by the governmental institutions and the public sector and to which only low-income qualifying individuals may apply.
