There are many different types of relationships, but all types require similar qualities that assure it will be a long-lasting and healthy relationship. Relationship between parents, siblings, friends, and significant others all have similar needs that have to be met to make it work. Qualities that promote healthy and long-lasting relationships include the need to have shared interests and goals, being able to trust the other person, and being supportive of each other.

It is important to have shared interests and goals to promote a healthy and long-lasting relationship. To make a relationship last, each person involved should have things in common that they both enjoy doing, but also have their own interests.
