“Bedtime routine” when kids are just babies it’s good to start a bedtime routine with them, so they will get used to a routine. “Putting an older baby to bed” (Greene). Go through the routine that you start when they are an infant use adjust it a little. “Putting a child to bed” still go though the routine like normal, but maybe read a book or tell a story. Older kids should be able to get their pajamas on themselves just a little help.

“Be prepared” (babysitting basics). You have to be prepared with any Emergency that happened while you babysit. If an emergency comes up with the kids, and you can’t fix the problems you will have to call the kid’s parents.
