Casey Anthony was a normal nice young lady up until she became famous. She was born on March 19, 1986, in Warren, Ohio. She “was one of the two children of Cindy and George Anthony, with George having worked in law enforcement” (“Casey Anthony Biography”). Casey had claimed she had last saw Caylee, which was in June 16, 2008, when she dropped her “off at a babysitter’s home, and when she returned to pick her up, neither Casey nor the babysitter were there” (“Casey Anthony Trial: Timeline…”). However Caylee “was not reported missing until July 14, 2008, when Cindy Anthony tracked her daughter down and demanded answers regarding Caylee’s whereabouts” (Hayes). In one of the three calls to 911 that Cindy Anthony made to report her missing grandchild, she explained that when she found Cindy’s car it smelled like there was a dead body in the trunk, yet she later took back what she said causing more of a suspicion towards Casey case. Casey later confessed that the babysitter’s name was Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez, who would in the near future file a defamation lawsuit against Casey, yet the police later found out that the apartment she left Caylee at was vacant for 140 days, meaning no one could have lived there, leading to Casey being arrested and charged for child neglect (“Casey Anthony Trial: Timeline…”). In a span of one month Casey was arrested twice, the first being for “child neglect, providing false information to investigators, and obstructing a criminal investigation” and once again for “petty theft and falsifying checks” (Waxman). She was lucky enough to get released the first time by having a bounty hunter help her find her daughter, with him not knowing she would just be put back in jail the next month. Casey received many help from her family members and many others to try to focus on the fact that Caylee was missing and that it was not her fault. Sadly the search would no longer be held after it was declared that the mystery bones, that were found close by the Anthony’s home, was, in fact, Caylee Anthony’s (Waxman). The evidence used before the declaration of Caylee’s death only made Casey seem guiltier. When detectives began to search around they revealed that “they had found strands of hair that looked like Caylee's in the trunk of the Anthony family car, and that cadaver dogs had smelled human decomposition in the trunk” (“Casey Anthony Trial: Timeline…”). Not only could that have been use to blame Casey, it was also revealed “that the terms “neck breaking,” “lost numbers,” “how to make chloroform,” and “household weapons” were Google-searched on a computer that Casey Anthony also accessed” (Waxman). With all this evidence it was easy to pinpoint who caused the death of
