As everyone knows, the purpose of having a dress code is to encourage people to dress professionally by a set of guidelines. In regards to today’s society, the way people would dress for certain occasions is becoming more neglectful in a sense. People would notice these things in school systems, workplaces, and etc. The purpose of having a high school dress code is to have these young adults dress in a business casual style in a way of preparing them for future careers. Just because society made the social norms to wear a crop top to social events doesn’t mean it’s acceptable to wear to school or the office. For the reason that the only way to be professional and have your ideas be taken seriously is to dress the right way. Dress codes
