Being Hispanic in the USA is truly a life experience. You or your antecedents had to start from zero, in a place you didn't know; the culture, the people, the idiom, the laws and the warmth it's all new to you. You are new and you're treated as such. You have to work hard to get the simplest things such as a job and even respect from your neighbors. Show people that you are a worthy human being and stop that either disgusted, full of pity or intrigued look in their eyes when you're walking down the street or in a mall. Stop the incessant questions running through their heads. Are they illegal? Are we safe with them here?
