Since the beginning of the semester we started learning about the right way to manage a classroom and its students. Once we started picking our JA grades, it became more real that we are going to embark on a journey that will either make us love this field or change our minds about this field. Throughout the course we discussed how ethical, historical, philosophical, and legal perspectives of learning play a role in creating the best positive learning environment. An ethical perspective is important in the classroom because it helps the social skills of the student and also the teacher. Its defined as everything that happened in the past. The main subject I want to teach is history. Knowing different dates and important times is crucial. Every piece of documentation out is historical evidence that of what is written happened. Throughout history, we had many advancements being done to improve education in America. Since the start of the Colonies to the twentieth century we have been updating our education for the future of this nation. In JA, the knowledge that the fourth graders had was really impressive. They are more ahead than I was in fourth grade. From 2008 to 2018, ten years, the increase of the education has been remarkable. The students also shared the same knowledge as their parents. One big legal act was No Child Left Behind Act in 2001. It was worrying when teachers wouldn’t put in more of an effect to help children that were far behind in learning. It was required to have yearly progress to meeting state standards and report cards to show improvement in their education. Each grade level has accommodations to graduate that grade level. In Texas, there is STAAR Testing to show and level where each student is at. I was the first high school graduate to graduate with the STAAR
