Spending time with your child teaches them good values. A student that is homeschooled throughout their live tends to have the highest academic achievements. With public schools, you are always guaranteed a certain level of education necessary for life skills, and college prep classes that get you ready for this demanding world. Truthfully; public education works for children on different levels, physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. They learn calculus, biology on live animals, physics, advanced chemistry, compete in science fairs and perform music and dance in competitions. However homeschooled student still have to do projects, it is not like going on a trip with fellow students and representing for your school. Public schooled student also have the ability to perform for their school in activities like football, cheerleading, basketball and the band. Most people would say that you can get these same activities when homeschooled, but let the truth be told you get more experience hands on in public school than in a homeschooled environment. In any situation when it involves our children we have to make rational decisions. Before even deciding on which school is best for your child do some deep research for yourself and not go by something somebody else says.
