Everyone at some point of their life is faced with adversity. Adversity can have many different forms it can be financial, political, danger, and even misfortune. According to the quote “Adversity has the effect of eliciting talents which in prosperous circumstances would have lain dormant” from the Roman poet Horace says. Horace says that adversity makes us who we are it shapes our mind, talents, everything that makes us unique. This demonstrates that everyone does take some type of adversity during their life, which shapes their character.
