The structure of the House includes 435 members that serve two year terms. The structure of the House is more hierarchical per se and power is spread more unevenly. The main concern for the House is to stress tax and revenue policy. The members of the House are “elected from districts apportioned according to population”(pg.471). The Senate includes 100 members and generally serve longer terms than the House (six years). There are two Senator per state they “usually represent much larger and more diverse constituencies”(pg.471) than the House.
