Cancer is known as one of the most agonizing diseases since the beginnings of mankind, and researchers have only recently discovered drugs and treatment to help the patient live a longer life. Chemotherapy has helped many people diagnosed with cancer move past the disease and live without the fear of dying, but the process is painful and does not guarantee success. When I lived in Canada my parents had a close friend who regularly chewed tobacco and eventually found out he had stage three throat cancer. The doctor told him it had spread too much, and with chemotherapy he would only have another two to three years left to live.
