Although there were many camps, Dachau was not the same as the rest. Dachau wasn’t just one of the camps established, it was the first camp established by the Nazi socialist. It was used as a prototype to build the rest of the camps. Dachau was used to conclude what actions should or should not take place in the other camps.
Dachau was described as “the first concentration camp for political prisoners. Dachau resulted in an estimated 188,000 devastating death, but only 31,951 deaths were reported. Dachau was maintained in horrible, life threatening conditions. Many inmates were killed senselessly. The inmates were treated like animals and kept starving. The prisoners were to serve in forced labor and expand the camp.
