Home ownership is essential to accumulating wealth, however, there are many factors that hinder obtaining a home, especially for black and Hispanic families, which one will we highlight today? In 2022, the rate of homeownership for hispanics was 48.6%, and for black owners, 45%. Compared to these percentages, those of white/non-Hispanic people outweigh these statistics by a landslide at a rate of 74.4%.
