Noticeably, Kanye’s impact in the fashion industry is widely known, with his signature shoe being sold out in seconds for every release. To input perspective, Kanye’s sneakers have become so valuable that they are always put on the market for up to five times the retail price after their release. Again, many have been in opposition to his creative views, but all of them are noticing it. Whether he is disliked or liked, Kanye’s stance in society is a wide and prominent presence. This marks a major influence on society, in which his design and popularity are directly aligned with the sneaker world as a whole. However, Kanye West has also combined his voice with diversity in fashion. Several years ago Kanye began to criticize the fashion industry, specifically Louis Vuitton, for its lack of diversity in its designing teams. Eventually, Louis Vuitton began to seek value in Kanye’s message and made Virgil Abloh, an African American, the head of the men's designing team.
