The American dream is an idea that every american wants to achieve. It may differ according to a person's history, lifestyle, and opportunity. The American dream is not something people simply hope to obtain one day but are willing to work for it. The concept of the american dream has changed over time. Although many people have accomplished success, the american dream is continuously decreasing because of government regulations, lack of motivation, and limited opportunity in lower classes.
A major factor in the views of the american dream is the government. Unlike large businesses, it is more difficult for businesses to adapt to new regulations made by the government (Mitchell), Small businesses don't have as much man power nor as much
