Imagine getting sucked into a whirlpool, getting eaten by giants, or even having a rough journey on the sea. These are some of the events that happened in the Odyssey. Poseidon’s curse was caused because Odysseus blinded Polyphemus, a cyclops who is the son of Poseidon. Odysseus’s men caused the Charybdis. Who killed the cattle and the gods gave revenge? This led to Odysseus and his men having to go to the path of the Charybdis since it was the only way to get back home. Lastly, the Laestrygonians.
