Martin Luther king Jr. changed the lives of many people during his life and inspired people to do amazing things after he died. King changed the lives of all of America in many ways.
When you truly believe in yourself you can accomplish many things. King grew up on 501 Auburn avenue, and was born January 29, 1929. King had a brother named Alfred, who was born July 30, 1930. King also had a sister named Willie who was born September 11, 1927. King was originally named Michael, like his father, changed his name in 1934, to Martin. In 1944, King graduated highschool at age 15 and entered Morehouse College shortly after. Years after in 1954, King becomes minister of Dexter Avenue, Baptist Church in Montgomery Alabama, which was his dream since he was a little kid. …show more content…

Later, they had Yolanda Denise, born in, 1955, Martin luther the 3rd, was born in,1957, Dexter Scott, born in 1961. Bernice Albertine, born in 1963. A year after King’s daughter Bernice was born, King won the Nobel peace prize for bravery in 1964. A year before King won the nobel peace prize he led the great washington march in 1963; around the time his daughter was born. Five years later April 1, 1968, King was shot dead while standing on the balcony outside his second floor room at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis Tennessee. King’s life changed the world
