Dreaming is perfectly fine, but if no action is taken, then one’s efforts will not be fruitful. Hard work and dedication are crucial elements, as well as the skill to be successful in one’s craft. Additionally, this dream must be in accordance with one’s personal values, but not necessarily with the laws of the land. While the labor may at first appear to be grueling and time-consuming, there are obviously ways in which “corners can be cut”. Of course, conflicts of interest may arise, but in America these can easily be overcome with the right friends in the right places. This must be used sparingly, however. One’s complexion and class are other factors that influence the risks one may be willing to take in order to obtain their goals. Furthermore, personal ethics and morals may also have to be abandoned. One’s profession takes precedent over family obligations. In America, holidays and family reunions become less significant when that time could be put to better use earning a profit.
