Ben is a 70 year old retiree whose wife had already died. He finds that he has a hole in his life to be filled.
Therefore he engage in a lot of activity such as doing travelling , taking up Tai Chi class, learning different language like mandarin.
One day he saw an advertisement on a job wanting to hire an older citizen as an intern for the company.
At first, ben does not have a lot of things to do. In the office, there is a table where everyone put their stuff on it and it was a mess but no one is willing to clean it up but Ben and it impressed Jules.
As a result, when something good happens in the company someone will ring the bell and the whole employees will acknowledge it by clapping.

One day, Matt who is Jules husband invites Ben to come in while Jules is getting ready. Matt is stay-at-home dad to take care of his daughter. He left his job in marketing in order for Jules to run her company.
The other moms at the school are sceptical about Jules commitment on making herself available for the next week party, Ben stays quiet and try not to be involve in personal matter due to the fact that he and Jules just knew each other. Julie is someone who is a reserve and introvert which mean she does not easily express her feelings, thus, once she feels Matt starting to get too close or knows her too well, she ask Ben to be transferred to other division.
That night, she was eating alone and spotted Ben who is sitting alone and ask if he wants to eat together. From there she started to get to know Ben better. It turns out that her office right now used to be the place that Ben had worked for 40 years prior to his retirement. Also, that night Jules helps Ben setting up his facebook. When Ben send her home, she was snoring so loud in the car and when being asked whether she snore or not Ben said she was not snoring. In other words, Jules is starting to get comfortable with Ben as she stated she has never been sleeping in the car
