1. Propose how you would ensure the HR strategy is in alignment with the business strategy
The human resource (HR) department requires making sure that the human asset is aligned with the organization’s strategy (Bendix, 1956). Ford Motor Company is considered the second largest vehicle maker in America and one of the highly ranked vehicle makers in the company. It was founded and established Henry Ford in early 1900s, and the company is well known as the producer of luxury cars, heavy trucks and a number of commercial auto motors. The company sales its vehicles and automobiles under the brand name Ford and the luxury cars under the brand name Lincoln. In addition, it has employed over 210000 employees since its inception. With regards to the size of the company, the company provides challenges in terms of global and cultural considerations to HR professions. Furthermore, the company provides opportunities for great experience in technical and professional knowledge for the design and manufacturing facilities. Therefore, comprehensive training, promotion and motivation of employees as a response to complex business issues is a constant thing done by the company, as a proper way to aligning human strategy to business strategy.
2. Describe the HR job positions and the responsibilities listed for that HR department.
The HR department of the company is robust and ambitious globally because it focuses on the individual performance and team work to realize the set goals of the company and achieve harmony in workplace. The company also gives greater attention to effectiveness of the organization in attaining specialization. The Ford Motor Company has established a skilled and expert team of employees that focuses on achieving effective and correct anticipation of consumer needs, and innovating ideas that ensure the strengths of the company surpasses any weakness of the company.
3. Determine which HR job positions you would prefer and explain why
At Ford Motor Company I would prefer to take up the position of a manager so that I would maintain the status quo of ensuring effectiveness and balanced activities in the company. In addition, I would make preference of a managerial position in the company, so that I get various opportunities to do skilled jobs and tap the best know how of the staff of the company to contribute to the development of the company. Lastly, due to my vast experience, strong awareness of the commercial matter and understanding of project management, I would lead the company to perform better and continue maintaining harmony in the organization.

The company has laid comprehensive strategies to ensure its team of effective experts delivers excellent performance in the world market.
