Summary
This report concentrates on the problems an immigrant student might face when settling in Australia for higher education and the actions that can be taken by the respective universities to help improve their comfort ability with the learning environment. The research is supported by information gathered from secondary forces as an aid for the universities to confirm the stability of the findings to proceed with them.

Counseling can make the students feel a bit dependant and not isolated as problems are being discussed with someone and in long term students will be capable of moving on. This is mostly related tomental health as it can be a bit time consuming. Anyhow universities can also grant easy holidays to new students under reasonable circumstances so that the student might not feel restless and uninterested in studies. This method will provide the student with time for him/herself and to adapt to the new environment. Continuous engagement in education can make the students feel alienated and bored so the above methods are a few solutions to the difficulties that an immigrant might face due to the sudden absence of guidance and …show more content…
If the immigrants see no benefit in studying abroad alongside the university students they will only concentrate on studies and this isolation and absence of interest in the studying environment will result in unhealthy and depressed students.
Encouraging team work and meetings with fellow students will be a solution to this problem and students will be more aware about both studies and the environment around. Working together not only results in better ideas but also the student’s mental health. Universities can also arrange yearly trips and monthly team working sessions or activities which will bring the students together and the relationship between the students will be improved which will improve the interests that a student has towards engaging in education. Goodrelationship with the studying environment will improve one’s attendance and punctuality.
