In Act 3, Scene 1, Macbeth orders the murderers to kill Banquo and his son to ensure that none of Banquo’s family could take the throne after Macbeth to reserve his seat as king. This shows how greedy Macbeth has become after achieving the Crown of the highest honors. Then in Act 4, Macbeth sent out the murderers to kill MacDuff because of the Witches appropriation of Macduff’s existence. Macbeth greedily taking anyone's life to gain / maintain power.
