Inequality Is Necessary
There are so many inequalities in the world. For example, someone monthly income is $ 8,000, someone monthly income only $ 1,000. Some people starve every day in Africa, however, many people need to reduce weight in the United States. These are inequality. Some people think if total equality exists, our world will be better. The world will not exist hunger, poverty, and so on. The truth of the matter was quite different. If total equality exists, people will become lazy and lose the desire to advance.
Total equality will make people become lazy because people can get same return whatever do hard work or nothing. Imagine that if someone gets the same return for doing nothing as he does for doing hard work, why work at all? It is the basis of economic inequality. I work, you don’t. I get, you don’t. Voila, inequality. People all don’t have the same abilities, the same diligence, the same intelligence, and so on. These things all engender disparate economic reward that is the inequality. If total equality exists, each people will has same property, same income, and so on. Whatever you are boss, worker, professor, or engineer, you will get same return. That will make people lose the desire to advance. For example, someone want become an engineer because it is a creditable high-paying job. He has to go to college to study many courses that include mathematics, physics, chemistry, and so on. These courses are not easy to study. He has to study very hard a few years. However, now everything is equal. Many jobs do not need to study much knowledge such as cashier, but their income are the same as engineer. If this thing was happened, hardly any people would want to become an engineer. Engineer will gradually disappear from this world. A world without technical personnel is a terrible world.
