Liberty, when it begins to take root, is a plant of rapid growth(George Washington). The British violated all of the colonists political freedom, economic well being,and their safety because parliament passed the sugar act for the money. The boston massacre killed 5 colonists which violated their safety in the colonies. The Intolerable acts is an example of the violation on the colonists political freedom.The colonists were justified in wanting independence with England for three reasons: failure to protect political freedom, economic wellbeing, and safety of the colonists.
Although the colonist lived in the new world the, the British still violated their political freedoms. The First example are the Intolerable Acts, so the Intolerable Act was a violation of political freedom because the British closed the port of Boston. Second, the Townshend Act the Townshend Act violated the colonists political freedom, because the colonists had to let the British soldiers sleep in their houses and eat their food. The Quartering Act was the first violation of economic well being because parliament passed the quartering act so Britain could get more money from the colonists. The Sugar Act was the second violation of economic well being because The parliament put import tax on special products which made more money for the British and make the colonists pay a lot of taxes to lose their money. The Stamp Act was the third and final violation because the British Parliament passed the Stamp Act to make the colonists pay more money for special tax stamps.
