Indian Pete Poem

Name had just finished eating his breakfast when he went outside to his front porch to check the mail. He went to his mailbox when he saw his neighbor pete jones riding his bike on the other side of the street. “Mornin’, paul ” said name. Morning’ replaid pete. Then all of a sudden pete fell off his bike and starts shanking of the ground. Name ran across the road when a car smacked right in name which sent him flying of the hood of the car.

Name wakes up surrounded by an Indian tribe. Name is tied to a poll and cant move his arms or legs. Then the indians start around him chrats something in there native tongue that didn't sound to pleasant. Then three or four indian men pulled three large drum and started beating on them. He held a cane in one and with the other he held his reading glasses. The man then raised p his cane and the chating crowed beca,e quite Then the man walked up to name and spat in his face. “Where am I? Name aked. Your in arkansas the man replied. Then the white indian cheif went back his tent and the chating and sickening drums beat coniuned.

Around two in the morning is when all the crazy stopped and the indians went back into there tents to sleep. They left name still tired to poll, “ where am i? Whats happening? Why am I in arkensas? “ name thought. Then one thought came in his mind, “he had to exsape.“
