Informative Speech
General Speech Purpose: To inform my audience on how hurricanes form and develop
Thesis: Hurricanes are strong, dangerous storms that cause mass destruction. Due to this, people question how these storms develop into a massive threat.

Introduction
Hurricanes are a huge violent storm with vicious wind speed that can cause severe damage.
The damage due to the storms can cause flooding resulting in a storm surge, which is the ocean rising. The storm surge is the most damaging part of a hurricane because of the amount of water. Not only are homes and lives are affected, but also more weather forming.

Heat is released from the water vapor and the air becomes warmer.
Warm air makes the air pressure higher and causes winds to spread out.
All the movement causes pressures to drop then the air moves to the low pressure.
