When I first saw the two adverts my first impression was very positive. The array of colours stood out which was eye-catching. This connotes that the devise is a joyful and fun piece of equipment to carry with you when you’re out and about. The adverts looked very clean and polished and also showed the product very well.
The print advert shows a variety of iPods with different games open. This connotes that the IPod is not only for music and can be used in different ways. The print advert has a clean white back-ground which makes the product stand out. There’s no strap-line because the super brand ‘Apple’ is a famous and well-known brand. The IPods are being tilted by what seems like male fingers. This tells the audience that this devise can be rotated or tilted to their advantage. The IPod has earphones plugged in which shows this devise can be used to listen to music.
The TV advert shows a finger playing a song on the iPod touch. This shows the audience that this product is touch screen and also good for listening music on it. The IPods are bouncing up and around. This connotes that the devise is a joyful piece of technology to have with you. The advert also shows the variety of different colours which the IPod comes in. this
