Irritability in foster children often increases the chance of tons of arguments because of how easily it is to be annoyed. Being annoyed all of the time is not good because one can become very negative. Negative thinking tends to make people feel like everyone is against them. Foster children often feel very isolated, even well after they are adopted. Irritability often increases, causing a terrible cycle to continue. When one family member is irritable it brings the whole family down. This tends to cause a very stable family to argue all of the time and increase tensions in home.
