The Six Doctrines of Belief would make a better bathroom pass than the Five Pillars of Islam for many reasons. Firstly, the Six Doctrines of Belief include many more specific and essential elements of the Islamic faith. In addition to having an extra set of guidelines, it also mentions the holy scripture of Islam, the Quran. In the Five Pillars, there is no mention of the word for word book of god. It is undoubtedly the most important of any Islamic books, being directly delivered from god. It is not corrupted like the holy scriptures in Christianity of Judaism. The Quran is the muslim’s book of guidance and the verses are used in various prayers. The exclusion of the Qu’ran from the Five Pillars plays a key role in why the Six Doctrines is
