The assassination on John F. Kennedy had a worldwide effect and it hit the american people the hardest. The assassination took place on November 22nd of 1963, in Dallas, Texas. The man who was accused and arrested for murder was Lee Harvey Oswald, but some believe that he wasn't the one who did it and that he was paid by someone to kill the president. Or that he was falsely accused to cover up for the FBI. The assassination happened on november 22 of 1963 in Dallas, Texas, at the dealey plaza. The reason JFK was down in Dallas that day, was to smooth the relations with liberals Ralph Yarborough and Don Yarborough. So when he landed and got into his limousine, it attracted a lot of attention from people in the area, so when he went through dealey plaza, it was very easy for someone to go hide and shoot him in the head with a sniper, which is exactly what Lee Harvey Oswald did, as he hid in a building with the window down and took a shot at him. Everyone there was terrified and ran, his wife Jacqueline Kennedy, screamed for an ambulance, as her dead husband was laying in her arms(A1).
