Many juvenile delinquents have difficulties learning so some of them get emotional help to help better their problems.there is about 3.5 of juveniles that have learning disabilities.most of the juvenile delinquents receive special treatment like getting help from a social worker to help them and their family with issues.in the article jrc practice it states”when the special education system fails minors often end up incarcerated.although youth with disabilities are underrepresented in the general population ,they are much more likely to be sent to detention and incarceration facilities.

The impact of having disabilities does not excuse the delinquents unfavorable behavior,it does have an impact and the minor ability to judge. If you are diagnosed with learning disabilities you are given special consideration. Parent can also treat them differently and can help a lot in whatever process they need. Parents should help their kids in every step for a better outcome in every step. Over the years, many juvenile delinquents weren't charged like adults. Their parents would have to pay their fine's or go to court depending of what they did wrong.
