Children who commit violent crimes should not be tried as adults. Children are more susceptible to negative behavior than adults are. Children don't have the intellectual or moral capacity to understand the consequences of their actions and they lack the same capacity to be tried as an adult. If rehabilitation is the only goal for teenagers who are tried and sentenced as adults, then prison is not the answer. There should be a different place for children who commit violent crimes.
