David was the second king of the United Kingdom of Israel and Judah, which means he ruled over the Jews and Israelites. He reigned for 40 years. During his time as a king, he had done many things. He was a great warrior, he was a man of God, he shared the word of God, but what people focus the most on, is the aspect of being a great warrior. David slew thousands and thousands of people in war, which led him to be respected more. Becoming a king was not easy, but he knew his time would come.

But one man in particular came up front. The man was huge, that man, was Goliath.
