In the image we can infer that Romero seems to look at L.A as if they love cars. The cars must represent love because L.A.s people love cars. Each one is either old fashioned or original. This must mean L.A.s is original and loves old cars. Also that in L.A more people chose to have a car rather than walk.
According to the articles the events of painting over a mural were bad for the people in the public and the artist. The artist was very angry and decided to suit the corporation that were protecting their paintings. As Frank Romero did and he was an important man in L.A since he was an international artist. The art he had created meant a lot to him. He gave it time and he carefully created something beautiful as the portrait. It was ruin but he still had a reason to keep it to his eyes it was as new. It meant a lot for him because of his quick reaction or he just wanted money. I agree because it was a public Painting and the community enjoyed
