The unique characteristics that I possess that allow me to contribute to the university community is leadership because I have the desire and willpower, I am an effective leader. I believe that good leaders develop through a never ending process of self-study, education, training, and experience. Leadership provides an inspirational figure to lead people towards great accomplishments, providing a foundation for ideas and excellence, showing others that anything is possible, a role I must play. For instance, I'm the captain of the varsity cheer leading team and my role is to lead by example every day. If I don't show my peers positive deeds and outlooks who will? I plan to join the cheer leading team at FAMU and lead a great number of people into showing their pride for the university. I'm also in the student government association at Dillard high school, it is vital that I show leadership characteristics because the student body look up to me. Leading, training and developing can maximize productivity, shape a positive culture and promote harmony. Also, At FAMU I plan to lead because it is a skill that teaches us to think for ourselves and as capable individuals. As a leader I can portray myself in a unique way that shape history, and bring forth change. I believe in myself and I'm not afraid to express it. I know that I can contribute a lot to the university community because I possess positivity into energy, commitment, sacrifice, and purpose.
