Did you know that one in five children becomes obese because of school lunches? I get school lunch every day at school and it is not filling at all. They give you one main food option and then 1 side. They have no maximum limit on sodium or sugar. And are very unhealthy, too. Sometimes the food is cold and looks bad. A lot of kids have to get seconds or even thirds because the school lunches are not filling them up. School lunches should be healthier to help combat obesity and supply filling, nutritious food to all students.

School lunches are unhealthy because students are struggling with obesity, school lunches should have a limit on unhealthy ingredients. Research by the US Department of Agriculture states that less sugar and low sodium are crucial for kids' health. Have you ever had school lunch before and felt sick or unwell? This is probably because school lunches do not have a limit to the amount of sugar they put in the food. School lunches can have lots of unhealthy foods.

School lunches do not fill students. According to USA Today, more than 15 million kids eat school breakfast and about 30 million eat lunch there.
