Mr. Woods Abraham Lincoln
I believe Abraham Lincoln is the best president ever because Lincoln signed the emancipation proclamation, approved the 13th amendment, and he did what needed to be done in order to keep America together.
In a recent test done by 49 historians and scientists, Abraham Lincoln came out on top.
The testing categories included leadership qualities, accomplishments/crisis management, political skills, and character/integrity. Abe was followed by FDR, George Washington, Teddy,
Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Woodrow Wilson, and Harry Truman. Lincoln came on top in every category making him the best president ever. (CreditMillercenter) I also believe without Lincoln, there would have been slavery still in our country. The
United States would have probably not been a superpower because nobody would have wanted to immigrate to a place where slavery is legal. No other country would have liked to do business or trade with a country that would have had slavery. And when the United States would have had slavery, everybody would have also.
