People of all races, ethnicity, color, and so on inhabits Texas. Texas laws are made regarding the diverse population. However, it is not easy. Regardless of all these laws that are implemented there are issues that Texans are facing because of the system of government. 4 While local government is often best at implementing policy, it poses a bigger risk of enacting laws that infringe on individual rights (Rinaldi). The controversy over the Red-Light cameras is one of the local and state governments hot agenda. Having the Red-Light cameras prevents people from running into the red light fearing they must pay fines. The state government is in favor of red-light cameras. Whenever accidents occur at such places especially in the intersections, those cameras help to solve the case and provides evidence to the issue. On the other hand, the local government talks about the drawbacks of the Red-Light cameras. The Red-Light cameras are one of the means to get money from the people. Even if you happen to touch the sensor though you do not run into the red-light, the cameras take you photo and ask you are responsible to pay fine. For example: On my way to Brookhaven College, me and my friend was at the Red-Light area waiting to take the right turn. There were four cars ahead of us. The light turned green and cars took their right turn accordingly. The car right in front of me drove slowly to take the turn. We were behind the car
