In this assignment, I will be looking at the legislations for health and safety in the uniformed services. I will also be creating my own scenario of inspecting the work place. I will write a report to them outlining their health and safety legislations.
Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

Employers must also make time to check the health and safety of the workplace, including making arrangements for emergencies in case there is a serious injury where an ambulance may have to come. There must be plenty of knowledge and training given for employees, this will benefit the safety and f everyone in the work place. The employees must strictly follow the instructions given to them in order to stay safe. A worker must report any damage.
Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995.
This legislation means when someone has had an injury, whether it's a small tiny injury or even going up to a major injury for example a broken leg must be reported to someone who is more senior to them. If someone has a disease they got from work, it can be reported by calling a certain number. Death at work and dangerous circumstances must also be reported.
