The purpose of my letter is to inform the courts regarding case number: F-14-027131 Bert Smith. I am extremely upset and very very disappointed on the outcome of this case. I regretfully disagree with the jurors' decision finding him not guilty on the original charges of him being of attempt first degree murder chargers, but finds him guilty of attempt manslaughter. I also feel this same disappointment and being upset about the acquittal charges.
To my understanding the maximum amount of time he could is 15 years in prison. This amount of time is not enough time for him to spend in prison. He needs to spend 20 years or more. If this man lives longer than 15 years. Once he's released at the end of his sentence he is capable of continuing a
