Over the years experiments have been done to show how will power influences later success in life.In 1968 Walter Mischels conducted an experiment called the “Marshmallow Experiment”.This test tested the willpower of four year olds by offering one marshmallow and he/she can eat it right away or wait fifteen minutes while he ran an errand and the kid will get another marshmallow.Most of the four year olds that were part of the test decided to wait.
