At one point of your life, maybe a friend or family member can bother you. When that time comes, you stand up to them and tell them how you feel about something they did. Most of the time, once you talk it through, the problem isn’t a problem anymore because it gets fixed. Other times, it can lead with bigger problems. Martin Luther King Jr., was someone who spoke up about the unfair laws and treament colored people got. He spoke up without violence. At one of his protest, he got arrested without any reason of getting locked up. At his cell, he wrote a letter saying how he felt about every cruel thing that was going on. All the causes were because of the unfairness of blaming a colored person for no reason, young children questioning, and the embarrassment. He was protesting in a non-violent way. By doing this, he got put into jail. I think that people, including me, think that this is unfairness. I know this because in the article, “Letter from Birmingham Jail”, paragraph 3, “But more basically, i am in Birmingham because injustice is here”. From this evidence, it seems like Martin Luther King Jr. was disappointed but at the same time frustrated of all this because of what was said in the letter. In my opinion, to put a man in jail for expressing his idea in a way that won’t hurt anybody shows me that anyone can go to jail for a fair reason and also in contrast, in an unfair
