In some parts of Western-Europe mass shootings have taken place mainly where gun laws are so strict. This will forever be a debate because of mass shootings, the use of guns with mental health illnesses, and the increased death rates by use of a firearm. In many places in Europe gun laws are very strict and forbidden. This has mass shootings on the rise because people know that it would be more difficult for them to be interrupted when committing a crime. There are several websites and reports depicting dozens of shootings that have taken place. Furthermore, mental illness takes a toll on society. Some people feel that guns are too easy to attain, especially people with mental illness. For instance, the recent school shootings that made Obama upset on national television, or the shootings at a movie theatre that rocked the world has gun laws under tight review. Both locations had psychopaths with illnesses that altered lives forever. Last but not least, the toll of death by a gun is colossal, and many want this to reformed. There are over 30,000 people that die in the U.S yearly by firearms. The unbelievable stat that suicides are so common should be alarming, and the fact that so many Americans own weapons facilitate suicides.
