After reading several editorials, I have decided on analyzing an editorial called “Don’t bring home the bacon so often” written by an unnamed author published November 4, 2015 by the Boston Globe.The author’s main message of this article was that fatty processed meats such as bacon are detrimental to the health, and have increased risk of cancer. The argument is very convincing, as they have trustworthy sources and data that seems to support their argument, such as WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer saying it is highly probable that colon cancer is related to processed meat such as bacon.
