Some individuals say that the meaning of autonomy is a mind boggling word and thought to attempt to characterize. In al truth freedom is a confusing word to attempt to characterize. In my conviction to be really autonomous you should have the capacity to do what you need when you need and have no one to say that you cannot do that. The main genuine approach to have autonomy is to settle on choices in light of you and not in view of what society considers.
