Terminology in the medical field can be intimidating when all you see is a big word that doesn’t seem to make much sense. One of the most influential lessons I learned about medical terminology is how to break down different words into their respective parts; this aided the learning process substantially. The ability to distinguish the different word parts and recognizing what they mean makes remembering their definitions much more apparent – it is a beneficial skill when it comes to learning new terms that appear in the workplace.
